YUMI – The Whole World
Motion for FilmFor the documentary YUMI – The Whole World, we created a title sequence that visualizes how one idea can grow into a global movement.
The film follows South Pacific law students bringing their fight against climate change from Vanuatu to the UN and ultimately to the world’s highest court.
We translated this journey into a visual system built around the yellow dot of the “i” in YUMI — meaning “we”. Starting as a small idea, it grows stronger as it moves from person to person, connecting illustration, typography, documentary footage and national flag colors along the way.
The result is a graphic narrative that reflects both the movement’s roots in Vanuatu and its growing international impact.
